ANC Caucus statement on death of Vincent Mabuyakhulu

The African National Congress Parliamentary Caucus has learned with deep sadness of the death yesterday of one of the movement`s dedicated cadres in the National Assembly, comrade Vincent Mabuyakhulu.
Comrade Mabuyakhulu will be remembered for the sterling role he played within the Alliance, most notably as the First Vice President of the COSATU-affiliated National Union of Metalworkers of SA and as an active member of the SACP. At the time of his untimely departure, he was an MP in the National Assembly, where he participated in various portfolio committees, including most recently, in the Water Affairs and Forestry Committee.
The ANC Caucus conveys its deepest condolences to the family, friends and compatriots of this revolutionary while it dips its banner in tribute to his unfaltering spirit.
