ANC caucus statement on New Appointments

The ANC Parliamentary Caucus welcomes the appointments in the National Assembly today of the ANC Deputy President, Kgalema Motlanthe, and National Executive Committee Member, Nomaindia Mfeketo, as members of parliament.
The appointments of the two senior leaders of the ANC will further strengthen the ability of the organisation to deliver on its mandate within parliament and enhance the institution’s oversight role.
The two leaders’ appointments present us with an opportunity to glean from the valuable combined leadership experience accumulated through many years of service to the people of South Africa.
