ANC Parliamemtary Caucus welcome the new Minister of Finance

We have noted recent changes in the National Executive of our Democratic Government by His Excellency President Cyril Ramaphosa and the appointment of Hon Enoch Godongwana as the New Minister of Finance with appreciation. We also wish former Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni well and know he will continue to serve the country in various capacities.
We further note the strategic role that Minister Godongwana has played as the ANC NEC Economic Transformation Subcommittee Chairperson and providing leadership and guidance to the organisation and the economic sector. He is knowledgeable on matters related to the economy.
In affirming our confidence in Minister Enoch Godongwana, we call upon all sectors, organs and institutions of our civil society to support all measures that seek to stabilize our fiscus especially those that are pro poor and aimed at creating better conditions of service in the working class as well as affording conducive environment for the business sector to thrive in ways that create sustainable jobs, where there is relative political stability and policy certainty.
