Eight Orange farm families receive a housing donation by Morutua R

The ANC applauds the initiative of the pupils from St Peters College who donated eight newly built houses to eight families in Orange farm on Sunday. Eleven pupils worked together with the volunteers from Habitat of Humanity to build these houses.
These pupils have been raising funds from the time they were in grade eight, and a sum of R750. 000 was raised and used for building five roomed houses for each family.
The ANC supports these kind of initiatives and believes that they are in line with the spirit of Ubuntu and Mandela day. We call upon other children to emulate this example and help to make South Africa a better place, together we can do more.
