ANC Chief Whip Pemmy Majodina kickstarts Back to School Campaign

15 January 2020

ANC Chief Whip and ANC National Working Committee Member Comrade Pemmy Majodina has undertaken a two day working visit to the Eastern Cape to launch the Back to School Campaign starting with the town of Komani today, Wednesday 15 January 2020 to champion and lead the Back to School Campaign by ANC MPs doing work in their constituencies.

This visit is aimed at building confidence amongst learners and teachers and ensuring that the right to education enshrined in the Freedom Charter as well as our Bill of Rights becomes a living reality for most South Africans.

The programme kick-started today at the Maria Louw High School in Kwa Mlungisi Township, Queenstown, with members of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislatures and sponsor representatives where 2 water tanks were donated.
