The ANC Study Group on Sport, Arts and Culture is deeply saddened by the passing of veteran South African actor Seputla Sebogodi.

Sebogodi made an immense contribution to South Africa’s arts and cultural landscape through his remarkable career and memorable performances. His work entertained, inspired and touched generations of South Africans, earning him a respected place in our country’s creative industry.

His passing is a profound loss to his family, friends, colleagues, the arts fraternity and the nation as a whole. His contribution to the development and promotion of South African storytelling will remain part of his lasting legacy.

The ANC Study Group on Sport, Arts and Culture extends its heartfelt condolences to the Sebogodi family, his loved ones, colleagues and all those who admired his work. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
